Everyone must register.
Rates are based on a family of 4 (two adults and two children) and two vehicles.
Check-out time: 11:00AM.
Quiet hours: 10:00PM to 8:00AM.
Speed Limit: 5 mph.
Public areas are protected by 24-hour audio and video surveillance. By being on premises, you agree to be audio and video recorded.
General Rules
• State law prohibits draining sewer/sink water onto campsites. Ensure your sewer hose is secure and report any issues immediately.
• Preserve the campground ecology. No chemicals, oil, gasoline, atrazine, glyphosate, or other harmful commercial pesticides/herbicides may be used or dumped on premises. Report accidents immediately to 603-586-4510.
• Keep noise to a minimum; loud music is prohibited in camping areas. Enjoy nature!
• Campers may not change sites without approval/documentation from the office.
• Laundry room hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM. Please finish laundry by 8:30 PM.
• Deep stakes for tents are prohibited on Pop-Up and Full Hookup sites due to shallow water lines.
• No glass containers. Report broken glass immediately.
• No cutting through sites.
• Tent campers only in designated tenting areas.
• Do not cut, climb, or deface trees. Nailing or fastening to trees is prohibited.
• Bicycles must not be ridden after dark and must be stored within your campsite by dark.
• Clotheslines are not permitted.
• Political flags with messages are prohibited; American flags are always welcome.
• Air guns, firearms, knives, and fireworks are not permitted.
• Driving off designated areas is prohibited (see campground map).
• Address fellow campers respectfully or report issues to the office.
Pets
• Pets must be on a leash (max 6 feet).
• Clean up after your pet.
• Pets are prohibited in the store, bathhouse, laundry, and pool areas.
• Bring your pet’s updated rabies tag; it may be requested in case of an incident.
• Breed restrictions apply per insurance requirements.
• All pet incidents must be reported to campground management. Owners are responsible under New Hampshire law.
• No dog walking in tenting areas; dogs may be walked on main park roads and the dog walking trail.
• Constant barking or whining over 20 minutes is a violation.
• Report uncollected waste; staff will address the responsible camper.
Visitors
• Visitors must check-in upon arrival and pay fees, and cannot be on property without office approval/documentation.
• Daily Visitor hours: 8:00AM to 10:00PM.
• Daily Visitors Rates: Adults $8, Seniors (65+) & Children (4-17) $5, Age 3 & under FREE.
• Overnight Guests: Adults $10, Seniors & Children (4-17) $8, Ages 3 & under FREE.
• Seasonal Guests: Adults $150, Seniors and Children (4-17) $100, Ages 3 & under FREE.
• Visitor access includes full amenities: pool, showers, bathrooms, and entertainment.
Children
• Children under 16 must be on their own site after dark or accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult when showering.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s actions and location.
• Children under 16 riding bicycles must wear helmets per New Hampshire law.
Playground
• Closes at dusk.
• Take turns and avoid pushing/shoving.
• Exercise caution when equipment is wet.
• Report malfunctioning equipment and do not use it until repaired.
• Clean up after yourself; do not leave food, garbage, toys, or personal items.
Pool
• Closes at the discretion of management, earliest at 6:30 PM or dusk.
• Open during season, weather permitting.
• Children under 14 must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) who may be responsible for no more than 4 children.
• Ages 14–17 may swim unsupervised if documented as responsible by parents/guardians.
• No running, rough play, pushing, gum, or glass in the pool area.
• Bathers with diarrhea, skin diseases, or open lesions may not use the pool.
• No body oil allowed.
• Contamination may trigger a 45-minute cleaning and fitness-for-use re-evaluation.
• No food or drink in pool or within 4 feet of the edge. Dispose of snack bags properly.
• Any camper instructed by a campground employee to leave the pool must comply.
Fires
• Fires must be extinguished by 11:30PM.
• Do not leave campfires unattended.
• No chemically treated wood, wood with hardware, or garbage in fire pits.
• Fire pits may not be relocated without office approval.
• Garbage left at site or in fire pits at departure incurs a $30 fine.
• Out-of-state firewood is prohibited. Locally sourced firewood is sold in the camp store.
• Leftover firewood may be stored by the office for kindling or other campers. Refunds available for unused wrapped wood.
Golf Carts
• Permitted for use on campground property.
• Maximum speed: 5 mph. Stay on designated roads/paths and yield to pedestrians.
• Legal operator age: 13. Minors over 13 with a safety certificate may drive if accompanied by a licensed adult.
• All drivers must have a valid driver’s license unless accompanied by a licensed adult.
• Golf carts must be registered and insured.
• Golf carts are not permitted on public roads unless compliant with NH state specs.
• Park in designated areas and do not block access.
• Failure to follow rules may result in revocation of privileges.
• The campground is not liable for golf cart accidents, injuries, or damages.
Recreational and Additional Vehicles
• Drones (UAV) require management approval before use.
• Quads, ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, and similar vehicles are prohibited for recreational use. Minor tuning/rinsing permitted. ADA exceptions may apply.
• Additional vehicles/trailers: $3/day, $75/month, or $250/season.
Trash, Storage, and Refuse
• Trash dumpsters located by the office are for campground-generated trash.
• Garbage must be sealed; boxes collapsed.
• Bathhouse trash is not for campsite garbage.
• Do not leave food/garbage out due to animal risk.
• Large items (mattresses, grills, etc.) must be disposed of at the local dump. Engine-powered items are not allowed in dumpsters.
Payment & Incidentals
• All reservations are required to have a valid credit or debit card on file. Jefferson Campground reserves the right to charge the card on file for any unpaid balances, incidentals, or damages incurred during the stay.
Cancellations and Refunds
• RV site cancellations ≥7 days prior: full refund. <7 days: one-day charge. No-show: no refund.
• Tent site cancellations by noon the day before: full refund. After that: one-day charge. No-show: no refund.
• Early departure: no refund.
Additional Notes
Campground management is not responsible for guests at your site. The master guest is responsible for their visitors.
Management is not liable for accidents, injuries, fire, theft, or loss of valuables.
Report leaking faucets or sanitary issues for timely remediation.
Lawn mowing is typically Monday–Thursday, up to noon Friday, weather permitting. Spot mowing or special needs may vary.
Any violation of campground policies may result in being asked to leave the premises without refund.
